*Street Survival Contact/Cover: This course examines statistics of felony assaults on officers. It exposes the four most deadly situations we commonly respond to and the ten fatal errors that contribute to experienced officers being killed. This course exposes you to the true order of law enforcements safety priorities. The course provides you with a thorough understanding of the roles of Contact and Cover and demonstrates how we can be prepared for unknown risk situations by utilizing Contact and Cover officers. The roles and responsibilities of the Contact and Cover Officers will be discussed and then implemented in practical exercises utilizing the Contact/Cover officer response to different call-for-service scenarios.

These situations are resolved by one of three ways; talk them out, force them out, take (bring) them out. Today’s law enforcement officer must be able to articulate a reasonable justification for their use of force in order for it to be justified. We will show you a simple and easy to remember use of force matrix. This course gives you the information you will need to be able to recognize use of force situations and know what is justifiable and what is not. After this course you will be able to, without hesitation, justifiably articulate your use of force. SWAT Response to Barricade Situations: SWAT Response to Barricade Situations: This course addresses the principals and tactics needed to resolve armed and barricaded situations. The students will understand the criteria for deployment, rapid and proper deployment of containment personnel, the force continuum, the basic guidelines for resolution of barricaded incidents, proper deployment of entry personnel, use of less-lethal devices such as chemical and diversionary, entry techniques, search tactics, and tactics for making the arrest. Slow and Deliberate Building Clearing: Slow and Deliberate Building Clearing: Building clearing is very dangerous in and of itself, however, if your team has been called out to perform this task it obviously has an even higher risk element to contend with. It is an absolute necessity for your team members and team as a whole to master the slow and deliberate building clearing techniques in order to safely conduct and resolve these situations. This course will teach you individual tactics and then incorporate these tactics and movements into team tactics and techniques. You will be shown how to employ slow and deliberate search techniques utilizing equipment such as the shields, mirrors, door stops, etc... Member will also be shown positioning and entry and clearing techniques that will maximize your safety and success in accomplishing these difficult assignments. Dynamic Room Clearing High Risk Warrant Service: Speed Surprise and Shock action is the bread and butter of dynamic room clearing. Today's law enforcement SWAT teams are used to serve many different warrants in differently configured structure. Dynamic room clearing is not by far the only room clearing tactic to be used by SWAT teams and this course covers the appropriate when and why to use dynamic room clearing techniques.
